I am installing a bluetooth keyboard. I am able to pair it with my fitpc-4 and to start with it will work at close distance < 1 meter. After a minute or two connection is lost and to get it back I need to reinstall the keyboard.
Earlier I replaced the WiFi antennas as one of them was damaged at the connector.
I may have replaced the antennas with a different type than what should be,
Question : Can this have any bearing on the problem I am having ? Does the bluetooth use the external amtennas ?
Note: The keyboard works fine together with another computer I have. It will type fine at a distance of 2-3 meters. I have no issues with WiFi.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Bluetooth losing connection.
Re: Bluetooth losing connection.
The BT does uses the external Antennas.
We suggest to confirm the following:
1. The Antenna you've replaced supports 2.4Ghz.
2. The Antenna is RP-SMA type (make sure there's a proper connection between the Jack and the port)
3. Confirm the IPX connector's integrity and that it is well seated.

Yes, and I have tried 4 different antennas. No joy.tamir wrote:The BT does uses the external Antennas.

How do you do that ? How do you messure that ?tamir wrote: 2. The Antenna is RP-SMA type (make sure there's a proper connection between the Jack and the port)
I tightened the antennas finger tight. What else can you do ?tamir wrote: 3. Confirm the IPX connector's integrity and that it is well seated.

Re: Bluetooth losing connection.
I have now tried to connect the bluetooth keyboard to another fit-PC3 I have.
Nu luck there either. I am able to pair the keyboard with the fit-PC3 at more than one meters distance but when it after several minutes of installing and is presented in the device manager it immediately disappears and will of course not work.
Seems like fit-PC has serious problems with bluetooth.

Re: Bluetooth losing connection.
If both are RP-SMA type, then that's enough.tamir wrote:

I am not familiar with BT issues you are describing.
Please provide the machine's S/N and P/N as printed on the white sticker at the bottom cover.
