Hello,
We recently acquired a microsvr on which we installed windows 7 pro on the 64gb SSD and a RAID10 with four HDD 2.5P 1TB.
We had the next BIOS release: BIOS core version CR_2.2.0.346 X64.
and read the documentation on how to update the BIOS.
We found the availability of a new BIOS:core version CR_2.2.0.377 X64
We followed all the steps.
The BIOS is updated correctly.
But after the reboot, we have the following message: Missing operating system.
We always have access to the setup at startup by pressing F2
We can start at boot via an external dvd player dvd installation windows 7 pro and alsoboot from an operating system on a bootable USB key.
But we could not access either the Intel utility for RAID and either the operating system windows 7 pro that we installed and worked fine.
In the setup (F2) in advanced, we do not have the ability to enable RAID functionality.
So we are blocked waiting and what to do to break the deadlock.
We need your help.
Thank you
Fred

Re: Blocked after updating BIOS on µSVR Missing operating sy
Can you please enter to the BIOS menu and attach the print screen of the boot tab?
Does a Live OS is able to access the SSD and the RAID storage?

Ok, I will go into the BIOS and I'll take a picture menu.
You only need the main page?
I have not started on a tested example ubuntu gold bactrack LiveOS to see if I have access to SSD and RAID.
But I'll do it quickly and you make a return.

Re: Blocked after updating BIOS on µSVR Missing operating sy
Hello,
I made the test with a liveos linux
And I saw the presence of the SSD 64 GB and mounting RAID10 with our four 1TB HDD, which shows me a single 2TB HDD. (RAID10 : 1+1+1+1= 2)
I put a capture of the linux os with the hdd on screen.
Also, I put a capture boot tab in attached file, as requested.
On the boot tab, I note the presence of SSD64Go and three hdd only.
Problem with the fourth 1TB hdd?
For your information before updating the bios, one of the four hdd in RAID bios hdd had written: error occured.
We have therefore updated the bios (which is available online) on the advice of Intel site in the part RST RAID.
Thanks

It seems that one of your drive is not installed properly. Please check the drive installation, or try to replace it with another one. All install drive should be listed

Hi,
Mr FREIDMAN gave us a bios for the µSVR.
We installed it and everything is back as the beginning.
We always have a message in the Intel RAID utility reporting an error occured to one of the four hdd.

Can you please replace the reported HDD with an other one to see if the error report persist?
