Advanced memory settings

Post by hwmartin »

Would it be possible to enable advanced memory settings in the UEFI configuration program? Currently the MintBox2 reads the SPD information from the installed modules and there is no control over voltage, speed or timing.

I am not interested in overclocking the memory, I ask because I have some modules which require 1.35V but there is no way to specify the memory voltage in the SecureCore Tiano setup program. For instance the speed setting could allow the user to underclock memory from the speed specified in the SPD information.

i.e., if memory SPD specifies 1600MHz the user can choose 1600MHz, 1333MHz or 1066MHz as the memory clock.

Even just the option to select 1.35V or 1.5V, since the CPU supports it, would be very nice :)
