[quote="jmenard"]I was able to get XP installed by keeping the disk in AHCI mode using an intel chipset 7 SATA AHCI driver that I baked into the windows xp install cd using nlite.

Do you remember which exact intel driver you used for this?
I have trouble finding the correct one for XP.

Thanks.

The second one on that page. When you run nlite, tell it you want to add a single driver, and point it to the unzipped files from that download. It will then give you a list of all the drivers contained there, scroll down and select the Intel 7 Chipset SATA AHCI drivers (or something very similar). Once you then bake that single driver into a custom XP CD, you will be good to go.
