Demo HD-Video to test hardware acceleration
Posted: Wed Jul 21, 2010 6:48 pm
Hello,
I got my fit-pc2i yesterday and I installed ubuntu 9.10 as described here
xorg.log shows:
Now I want to test to play a HD-Video-File.
1. Can you suggest me a free video file for testing (Link? Please not much bigger than 100MBs). Which CPU-Load should I have with that file?
2. Can I only use the mplayer-vaapi from fit-PC2 repository to play (HD) Video-Files with hardware acceleration? Or can other video applications from ubuntu repository like vlc also use the acceleration?
Thanks in advance,
Dominik
