Fit-PC2 Rev 1.21 and Sandisk SSD

Post by User0815 »

Hello,

I just bought an used Fit-PC2.
The sticker on the PC has the serial number 090601-656 on it.
I assume that this is the hardware revision 1.21

I tried to install a SanDisk SSD (Type SanDisk SDSSDP-128G-G25 128GB (6,4 cm (2,5 inch), SATA III) but it failed.
The SSD was not detected and the installation of Windows 7 wasn't possible.
The original Samsung HDD worked fine so far.

Is there a known problem with new SSD controller from SanDisk?
I haven't had the chance to test the SSD in an other Computer (no SATA) but the disk is brand new.

Best regards
Michael

Thank you for submitting this issue. We have a couple of reports from the users about some issues with the SSD SATA III devices. We couldn't confirm those issues with our SATA III SSD models on the FitPC2 models. One user reported back, that partitioning the SSD on other PC solved his issue.
