E-SATA hardware support for port multiplier

Post by spindrift_21 »

Hi,

I need a quick answer on whether the Fit-PC2 E-SATA port supports port multiplier devices such as the Thermaltake BlacX Duet seen here:

http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.a ... 46&ID=1895

If you don't know that answer, but can tell me what chipset the Fit-PC2 has I may be able to figure it out.

Thanks!

Fit-PC2 does not have E-SATA port. It has one SATA port that is implemented over IDE bus, so if you want to connect an external hard disk to it, better to use USB port.
