So, I've been reading this and other posts on this particular subject to try to figure out how to get my fit-pc2 to run MKV smoothly on Windows 7. So far I've tried everything I could, and even purchased both the CyberLink HD codecs AND CyberLink PowerDVD 9 ultra edition. Currently I have the following setup:

- Windows 7 ultimate edition (RTM build 7600)
- Intel GMA500 driver version 8.14.10.2002
- CyberLink HD264 pack
- K-Lite Codec Pack 5.2.0 (full)
- CyberLink PowerDVD9 Ultra.
- Media Player Classic Homecinema 1.13.1249.0

It seems I should be able to watch MKV-files smoothly, but I am not. CPU usage is between 80 and 100% and there's a lot of lacks in the video performance.

What I would ultimately like to be able to is to use Windows Media Center exclusively for all media types, but it this possible at all?

Could you please give me a precise to-do guide on what to install, in which order to install it, how to configure it and how to use it to get this up and running?
