FreeNAS and Fit-PC2.

Hi all :D
is there anybody, that have any ideas, if FreeNAS could run on a FIT-PC2?
it is my understanding that FreeNAS is based on FreeBSD.
could be a cool server system with one or more drobo(s) and then freeNAS

Freenas (BSD) runs on both a x86_64 and x86 CPU chipset. When downloading make sure you are using the i386 version and you should be fine.

It would generally be 'slower' as it is not optimized for the i686 instruction set, but the performance wouldn't be too astounding anyway.
