Hi,
I have a question about the config like this:
Xperia Neo HDMI output -> Fit2VGA -> Monitor
It seems, the smartphone cannot drive the fit2vga with enough power and it is not working in this case.
The question, does anybody know a workaround of this kind of issue?
That is also an option to hack the fit2vga to provide external power supply to get it work.
Thank you in advance.

Re: SmartPhone -> Fit2VGA -> monitor question
fit2vga relies on the 5 volt source supplied from the fitpc2 through it's HDMI connector, so the the fit2vga is not guarantied to work with other platforms

Re: SmartPhone -> Fit2VGA -> monitor question
Thank you for your help Gabrielh.
In this case, this is the problem, I think. So, Pin 18 +5 V Power (max 50 mA) should be not used by the phone or cannot provide power on it.
Technically is it possible to use external power, for example directly from the power adapter of the mobile phone? I mean, remove the plastic case of the fit2vga and use wire and soldering to use it?
I know, it is a dirty hack and break warranty.
Thanks,
István
