Mint Linux tries to install driver to support ECC memory

Hi,

We found out that using Linux Mint (20.2, cinnamon edition), the linux kernel fails to load the EDAC driver pnd2.
The "Logs" application in Linux Mint reveals the error message on the Important tab:
EDAC pnd2: Failed to register device with error -22.

This rightfully fails as the device does not have ECC memory installed.
Although no operations issues were observed, we decided to disable loading this driver on startup.

Based on the suggestion mentioned at https://unix.stackexchange.com/question ... system-log
the following line was added to the file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
blacklist pnd2_edac

After rebooting the fitlet2, this error message did not appear again, nor did we observe issues related to this change.
