USB ports not recognized/initialized during boot.

Good Afternoon,
I have an issue that perhaps I may have missed in the prior postings but I figured what better time to ask them now.

My MBM2 Pro started to do something odd, and I believe it is because I touched something in the bios by accident and wasn't aware of it until it was too late.

Here's how the issue appears:

• No Video/Audio: No Splash. Nada
• No indication that keyboard is being recognized by the
computer during boot sequence. (Does not react to
holding DEL to enter bios)
• Does not react to ctrl+alt+del to reboot,
• Does not respond to (f3+enter, F4+enter) to load default
bios settings.

So essentially my biggest problem is not being able to interact with the computer with my keyboard because my keyboard is not being recognized. Is there any way to remedy this?

Is there any LED on the keyboard lit up? CapsLockNumLock indicator.

Greetings,
I had to verify the question you are asking. Unfortunately, no there is no indication on the keyboard. Moreover, I am using a backlit gaming keyboard, and the lights do not turn on when they are plugged into any of the USB ports. So I am convinced that the reason why I can't reset BIOS is because the keyboard for the USB ports are not being energized or recognized.

Also this?:
Trying an alternative adapter could eliminate bad PSU.

Yes. I have checked the charger. It's in perfect condition.

One last thing to try before RMA - take out the SSD and see if MBM2 wakes up into BIOS settings or UEFI shell. If it does, we will replace the SSD, if not - there is mot likely a hardware issue that requires RMA.

Good Evening,
Thank you for your responses.
I have tried duplicating the conditions you listed should the SSD be removed and it still fails to budge.

However the plot thickens. It's a tricky little bugger.
Here's the newest observations:

The box has been sitting without power or RTC connected for a while, and when I plugged it in,. the keyboard lights up.

Here's the funny thing... Now, the power to USB stays constant, even when the main power button is switched to a shut down stage.

On power on:

First all three lights illuminate green;
The two front LEDs blink off for a second and return green and steady; all while the main power switch LED remains green.
One push of the power button renders it orange, as if to suggest a sleep/hibernated stage while the other two shut off.
I still do not receive any video, audio, and although the keyboard is lit, it seems that it's just receiving power even though key strokes are not registering.

Any fireflies on this issue with these new developments?

Once again. Thank you for your assistance.
