CentOS 6.7 x64bit gets stuck on boot. x32bit works fine.

Hi,
I have installed minimal x32bit CentOS 6.7 and it has worked fine.
But i needed to install the x64bit CentOS 6.7 version for better performance.
After the successful installation, i have rebooted, but the computer gets stuck with a black screen after Bios.
Please advise.
