I was on the phone to Fit-PC yesterday and asked this question, the guy at the other end had a German accent and said "approximately three weeks" - which means it should be out by June 2012.
Can anyone confirm this?

It will be available for ordering next week with the fit-PC3 Pro Linux.
Lead time is ~6W.

That's great news!
Can you please provide (or provide a link to) more technical detail on this module?
My goal is to replace an ALIX based device with pfSense 2.0.1 (FreeBSD 8.1 based) running on a fit-PC3, Multi-Gbe FACE module, a Ubiquiti SR71-e high power AR9280 based 802.11a/b/g/n card, and a normal WPEA-111N AR9280 802.11a/b/g/n card to provide multiple wired and wireless firewall zones. I've been looking forward to this FACE module for quite some time.

Will there be a fit-PC3 Pro Barebone FM-4E4U available to order? If so is there a current ETA?

For now, the face modules are not sold separately. The list of available FitPC3 configurations can be found on the FitPC3 website

Most excellent!
http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=45117.0, among other pages, indicate that while it may not be listed in the FreeBSD documentation directly, it's highly likely to work, which is great news for Fit-PC3+FreeBSD based routing appliances.
