Ah, I didn't think to look underneath!RKz wrote:If you look at the marking on the bottom of the IPC you will see that Audio Out is marked correctly. So the Users Guide should be changed.

Audio In/Out jacks reversed?
I've just spent some time trying to get analogue audio out working, and I notice that a lot of other people have had a similar problem. But I got it working by plugging the cable into the inner/right audio socket instead of the outer/left one. The inner/right socket is labelled as Audio In in the Us...

USB power-off on standby?
Is there a way to configure some USB ports to power off when the PC goes to sleep?
The background to this is that I want to power off USB DACs etc when the computer is not on but keep other ports active such as a USB keyboard and remote control dongle.

Re: Intense PC as audio server ?
For what it's worth, I am using an i7 Intense PC for use as a Windows media server, using both DLNA and USB, and I have encountered no problems. I'm not using wireless in any way though. I don't know about 192khz over USB as I'm using an external Soundblaster X-Fi HD which only goes to 96khz, but th...

Re: Intense PC as media player and use of external sound car
I've got an Intense Pro (core i7 mobile processor with HD4000 graphics) with Windows 7 and using it as a HTPC with JRiver Media Center. Yes, it will manage HD Video OK but it is not able to achieve JRiver's "HQ" mode which it uses Madvr as the renderer (instead of LAV?). Video stutters. It will only...

Re: PC doesn't stay in sleep mode - network port waking it u
Woohoo, touch wood, that seems to have done the trick! Thank you. I had actually already downloaded the latest driver but missed the Pattern option because it was fourth in the list that is only big enough for 3 items. I had also downloaded Ubuntu Live as suggested above and it didn't have th...

Re: Intense PC Pro (i7)- CPU power 30W??
Aye, but these figures aren't being measured at the wall, they're from CPU monitoring programs. Look at my first screen grab above. The machine is idling. Turbo boost isn't kicking in, the processor frequency is down to 800MHz, but the Processor power is 30W. How did you manage to get an absolute ma...

Re: Intense PC Pro (i7)- CPU power 30W??
I too got the barebone and put 16GB RAM in (2x8GB) and a 128GB SSD, Win7 Pro x64. I took out the wireless card as I didn't need it, so at least that shouldn't be consuming any power. I've turned off everything in the BIOS that I think I don't need, such as all the PCI stuff on unused ports and the N...

PC doesn't stay in sleep mode - network port waking it up?
When I put it into sleep, it wakes up almost immediately. I've tried diagnosing this, disallowing all devices I can think of from waking the PC up, the only thing that stops it is unplugging the network cable. I want it to do WOL, on receipt of a magic packet. In the Power Management options of the ...
