Re: Fitlet XA10 does not start
I do recall noticing the led would go from a yellowish orange to a more orange color and back which I assumed meant it was turning on and off. But I was also swapping hdmi cables, monitors, keyboards, pulling & inserting ram and ssd to figure out why I wasn't getting any monitor output and I don't r...

Re: Fitlet XA10 does not start
I have an IA10. The ram is necessary for it to start, not sure about SSD.
I had the same problem at first. I took out the ram and reinstalled several times and it finally worked. Seems it is a little touchy about how it is inserted. Since then it has worked solid for me.

Re: speeding up fitlet-iA10
There were questions above about disabling cores to enable Turbo Core so I played around a bit. I set TDP to 20000 and set number of cores to 2. Yep, both cores boost to 2.2 GHz $stress --cpu 2 #cpufreq-aperf -o -i 10 CPU Average freq(KHz) Time in C0 Time in Cx C0 percentage 000 2196000 09 sec 981 m...

Re: no video out on new fitlet
Pretty sure you need at least the ram installed for it to do anything at all beyond lighting the LED. Green and yellow just mean power on and off. I had a similar problem even with ram installed. The LED would light, and change colors, but no video signal. Tried reinstalling the ram and ssd. Nothing...

Re: speeding up fitlet-iA10
> Looks like utilization of GPU for decoding and rendering is not full in the setup. The difference in performance and performance/W would favor GPU dramatically. VLC - enabling hardware decoding causes lots of block artifacts, even at 25000 TDP. There are lots of complaints about buggy gpu support ...

Re: speeding up fitlet-iA10
I also wasn't expecting high end, but I am a bit disappointed in the graphic performance. There are reviews and comments saying youtube, hulu, etc. shouldn't be a problem. One review I read recently said there should be no problem with any 1920x1080 50Mbps video. I don't know how he could claim that...

Re: Missing setting 'Restore on AC Power Loss'
I downloaded and flashed the ROM from the wiki BIOS_ROM_Files page. I rebooted and entered the BIOS utility. There is still no setting for Restore on AC Power Loss. On the main screen I noticed the build date had not changed. I looked at bios-flt.ROM and the modification date is 6/27/2015 which is s...

Missing setting 'Restore on AC Power Loss'
I have a fitlet iA10, bios version SBCFLT_0.08.04, build date 06/27/2015. The fitlet automatically boots when plugged in, or power is restored. I would rather this not happen. The online bios guide shows where I can change this behaviour at Advanced >> Power Settings >> Restore on AC Power Loss, how...
