fitlet2 performance

How does the fitlet2 performance compare to the fitlet1? Have you run geekbench on any of them so I can compare to the numbers on this chart: http://www.fit-pc.com/web/products/prod ... on-charts/

Thanks

thermal compound

We've noticed that some fitlet's are coming from the factory with thermal compound between the CPU and the top cover but some are not. Are you going to be standardizing on one way or the other? Just so we know. Thanks

Can the Airtop operated on it's side

Since the heat is dissipated through the top, is it possible or recommended to run the Airtop on it's side? Would that negatively affect heat dissipation?

Thanks

Re: Windows Server 2012R2 on Fit-PC4

If you're having problems getting the Intel I211 network driver to install on Server 2012 R2, it's not officially supported by Intel but there is a workaround. I followed the instructions on this page and got it to work under Server 2012 R2. http://atomic-station.blogspot.com/2015/08/intel-i218v-and...

remote power button cable routing

Has anyone figured out how to route the cable for the remote power button through the chassis? If we drill a hole in the chassis, does that void the warranty?

Thanks

Re: GPIO connector physical specs

Hi Maxim,

I've looked at the fitlet GPIO Connector User Guide but I didn't see a description of the actual connector. I found the electrical pinout but not the pin style & dimensions. We need to make a custom cable that fits into the GPIO slot.

Thanks

GPIO connector physical specs

What are the physical specs for the GPIO connector in case someone wants to make their own cable? Is it a standard connector type?

On a side note, are there any supported GPIO drivers for Ubuntu 14.04 yet?

Thanks

Serial Number in BIOS

Is it possible to store the serial number in the BIOS on the Intense PC2?

I found this post but it's old and not for the IPC2:
