Never mind, just realized I need the drivers, am downloading now. There seem to be two different wifi drivers, how do I tell which one to use?

Ethernet and wifi appear not to be working
I have had a fit2 for some time, but recently purchased a diskless FitPC3 from Amazon. I installed an SSD and then Win7, successfully. However, the device reports there is no Ethernet or wifi service available, even in the presence of a good wifi signal and when connected to Ethernet. Both are funct...

Re: HELP - please!
I have, of course. They are very puzzled as well. Since there are no other applications installed on the Fit (it's a dedicated music server) we're quite stymied as to why the installation could be reporting a problem with the target ports. Not sure what could be the case. If you have any ideas, appr...

HELP - please!
This is an attempt to get some help here. Sorry for being repetitive. I have installed XP on my FIT, and successfully updated the install. Completely up to date. Everything appears to be working. However, I have installed an application, Logitech Media Server, that was working fine for the past seve...

XP Installation not working properly
It's sad, I know, to be using an old hardware model, but it's what I have and I need help. As noted in another recent post, I have a Fit-PC2. I have installed a new HD and have apparently successfully installed Windows XP. I had an SP2 install disk, and when I installed I could not subsequently use ...

Re: XP installed, no internet -- please help!
Installing the ethernet driver (which location I found from an old post) solved the internet problem. However, the next seemingly intractable problem is that I am unable to do an update -- I installed XP SP2, and need SP3. Windows updates just will not work, even though all services appear to be set...

XP installed, no internet -- please help!
Hi there, I have been using a FitPC2 for several years now, as a music server. I bought it diskless and installed XP on my own 500gb drive. I have now upgraded to a 1 tb drive, and xp installed successfully. However, I am getting no internet connection, despite ethernet connection. I don't know what...

Installation steps
Hi there, I have had a Fit2 for quite some time, and have used it continually as a music server running Squeezebox/Logitec Music Server. Works perfectly, but the 500mb drive I installed is almost out of space. I am going to install a new 1.5tb drive, and stick with XP, which I have legal access too,...

Re: New display driver for headless operation
New video for headless system (IEGD) is uploaded: http://www.fit-pc2.com/download/xp-drivers/xp-display-iegd-100704.zip Notes: This driver is compatible with fit-PC2 and fit-PC2i . This link doesn't work. I'm about to reinstall XP on a new 1tb hard drive in my Fit2, after the 500 gb drive has maxed...

Re: FitPC2 as Squeezebox server -- success!
Further to the above, I've acquired a Transporter (the high-end of the Squeezebox line, now out of production but still available on occasion). It's now the main SB device served by the Fit2. Truly awesome.
