Yeah ist working fine.
But I would be interrested what speed everyone reaches?
With 20 Mbytes/sec with samba the processer has only 30% load. The harddrive makes 70 Mbytes/sec. So I would just like to know where the bottleneck is.

with linux mint and x-serverr running i can switch off the monitor (even remotely) with > xset dpms force off. however, when the x-server is not running, the monitor is always on, with black background. is here any way to switch the monitor off, without the xserver running (and eating resources) ?? ...

after i put mint it run 30 day non stop - no problem, mostly with remote NX session. in the last two weeks i used it more often xorg on 1920x1080 screen. since then i also had two hangs. the computer just stops working, complete freeze, manuel reset and reboot necessary. both times i had httrack run...

solar panels mostly rated for maximum power, which is only reached at a certain level of light. this is mostly defined for a bright sunny day during lunchtime. at night, you amost never have sun (poles of earth neglected), so the panel dont supply power at all, the same on rainy days. however, as ir...

since the panel only gives 4W maximum and the fitpc already takes 6W, there is no way this panel can supply your system 24/7.
